A few important Serbian corrections
#19, #21, #24, #25, #27, #29: Serbian can express the agent with од + genitive, but a more formal/literary passive agent can also use the instrumental in appropriate constructions. For the straightforward examples above, од њега / од учитеља is clearer and more natural.
#18:
Књига се чита (Knjiga se čita) is a se-passive / impersonal passive-like construction, not the same grammatical structure as the Russian быть + passive participle. It means roughly "the book is being read / the book is read."
#30: Serbian normally uses мора да буде + passive participle for "must be read":
Ова књига мора да буде прочитана.
Ova knjiga mora da bude pročitana.
This book must be read.
#43: Serbian does not normally use a bare infinitive after да. For a purpose where the subject changes or where the construction is explicitly purposive, да бих + past form is common:
Једем да бих играо.
Jedem da bih igrao.
I eat in order to play.
If the subject is the same and the meaning is straightforward purpose, Serbian can also use да + present:
Идем да купим књигу.
Idem da kupim knjigu.
I'm going to buy a book.
